While I am a one-woman show, I couldn't have done anything without these ladies! I wanted to show a little spotlight on my machines as I wouldn't be able to produce the items I do without them :)
Bertha came on board in 2022 as a need for me to sew through thicker materials and what a beast she is! Bertha has even inspired me to make quilts, so keep an eye open for those possibly popping up for sale in the future :)
While Betty is a basic machine, she was my first sewing machine as an adult that I received as a gift many years ago. Once I upgraded to Big Bertha in 2022, I couldn't retire Betty after all our time together. As a result, I installed a twin needle and only use her to finish the knit garments I make.
Ellie is another upgrade I received as a gift from my husband a few years back. I was originally working with an embroidery machine that only used 4X4 hoops and when my husband saw the items I produced with the smaller machine, he knew I needed an upgrade to do much bigger projects.
Hottie is another gift from my husband - do you see a theme here? When I originally started making shirts with vinyl I used our home iron and my husband quickly saw how much I needed a heat press to get through my orders more quickly. Hottie came with several accessories, but a regular press is how I use her on the daily basis.
While Sandra is a serger and I use her for making knit outfits for my little ones at home, I had to share her with everyone as she makes my heart full when I complete an outfit and run to my kids to have them try it on. I started another adventure (I should have enough, right?!) in making YouTube videos of items that I make and plan on showing how I make the outfits I make my kiddos, so be sure to keep a watch out for Sandra on taking the spotlight there!
The Twins are a new edition to the family, and oh so important. Twin A on top is strictly for sublimation printing, while Twin B on bottom is strictly for regular ink. Some of the personalized shirts and adult shirts I create are done with sublimation and the regular ink is used to print out shipping labels, stickers, etc.
Last, but not least is Connie my Cricut Maker. She is another upgrade I made a couple years ago after using a Cricut Explorer machine. Hands down my cricut machine is the most used in my office because of the versatility and when I had the opportunity to purchase the maker when I found it on clearance I didn't hesistate to pick her up. My old exploerer machine is retired and hanging out in my closet until she's needed again. Can I officially call myself a crafter if I get rid of things, lol?
